The exterior of this existing historic building was rehabilitated in a manner allowing it to continue to express its character and history. The brick and stucco walls were stabilized and the wood and doors were rebuilt as necessary. The scope of work included a renovation to the interior and construction of a new rear addition after the demolition of the existing addition.
The interior features exposed wood trusses, patterned concrete floor, clearstory lighting and a glazed rear wall that opens the shop into a walled garden. The character similar to a conservatory is well suited for displaying garden furniture and accessories.
